Leather Kilts
A harder edge. The same kilt freedom.
Leather kilts aren’t for blending in. They’re built for festivals, performances, and anyone who wants the comfort of a kilt with a look that’s unmistakably their own. We carry both genuine leather and high-quality faux leather options across the range.
Built Tough. Worn Loud.
Leather kilts are a different category from tartan or utility — the material does the heavy lifting. The look is bold, the construction is durable, and the wear-in period makes each one uniquely yours over time.
What to expect:
- Genuine or faux leather options — clearly labeled per product
- Adjustable waist closures — buckle or snap, depending on the style
- Black and brown colorways — with select styles in two-tone or distressed finishes
- Pleated or flat-front cuts — depending on the design of the kilt
- One of the widest size ranges available — waist sizes from 24″ to 76″, measured to kilt sizing
Genuine vs Faux Leather
Genuine leather is heavier, develops a patina with wear, and lasts years with basic care. Faux leather is lighter, easier to maintain, and more affordable — a practical choice if you’re wearing it occasionally rather than regularly.
Both options are built to the same cut and construction standards. The difference is in the material, not the build quality.
Caring for a Leather Kilt
Wipe down with a lightly damp cloth after wear. Apply leather conditioner every few months to keep the material supple. Store on a wide hanger in a breathable garment bag — never folded. Full care instructions in our Kilt Care Guide.
